Sunday night and all through the house, not a creature was stirring, not even the mouse. (There better not be a mouse in my house). The children were nestled all snug in their beds while visions of Pringles dance in there heads. Mama in her nightie and Daddy in his boxers had just settled down for a long movie (Lord of the Rings 1). Okay mama's blogging and Daddy's watching the movie. You get the picture
AAAHHHH...........

Just a short weekend update.

I have been following a story on 2Peas about this scrapbooker named Jen Gallacher. I have seen her work in several magazines. Unfortunately her and her family their 13yr old son died last night from cancer. My heart and prayers go out to her. I can't imagine losing one of my kids. Sometimes when I actually think about it, it just fills me with so much fear that I have to stop or I don't think I would leave the house. I am serious, it can consume me if I let it. Which in a way is kinda weird cause I was allowed to run fairly loose as a kid

In other sad news, my dad called last night and let me know that my great-aunt Rita passed away Saturday night. She was my grandma Percy's best friend and such a fun lady. Granted I hadn't seen her since 99-00. Yeah, a long time.

Thats what hard about being far from home, each time I talk to Dad or Kristie I have to get all the news and gossip of the people I miss.

I have to stop. I'm getting morose thinking about all this while I type.

I was checking out blogs earlier and I've been wanting to move to Kentucky (yes, Kentucky) and I didn't know but three of the scrappers blogs that I read live around Louisville. It looks like a beautiful area, I would like to go check it out. Some land, some trees, a funky house.... My two story with the white picket fence, basement, 2-3 car garage and about 3,000 sq. ft. aaahhh heaven. I can dream. nothing fancy but a big farmhouse with character and charm.

** So today after church Mikey, Rob and I headed up to PHX to watch the D'Backs in action against the Giants. Not bad, we won 5-4 and we didn't see Barry Bonds till 8th or 9th inning and he got lots of boo's. Hell D'Backs walked him and then Giants had another team member run his bases for him. Pussy. Getting either too old or too big for his britches. Congrats to our basketball team the Suns for kicking some butt tonight also. A good day for AZ. Enjoyed some In-n-out and headed home. The guys refused to let me go to IKEA. Jerks, they teased me as we past by. Then on the way home they decided to "stink" me out. UGH, you men, silent but extremely deadly. Trapped in the back seat with the child locks on so I couldn't even put the window down for fresh air. Sadists. Laughing at me. Yucky boys.
Well I hope you enjoyed your weekend. Stay safe and I won't be adding music cause I agree with Julie. Don't want you to get caught not working.
Lots of love and new pictures soon.

Hi Carrie,
It's hard thinking of Aunt Rita being gone, I know I'm not one of the family anymore, but she was so cool and I always enjoyed spending time with her.
About the thirteen year old dying-that is every parents worse fear, I remember mom saying a parent should not outlive their children. There was a couple of times both you and your brother really gave me a scare, it scares you and just breaks your heart to have your children in danger. But you go forward and hope and pray that your children will be safe.
