So every picture taken at the pumpkin patch is a little blurry, what's up with that?
Kelly has ring around the mouth, chapped lip style, and Chelsea got some of her shots that day. All of us are having allergy issues except Chelsea, so we are not the most fun loving people to be around. We sound awful but feel okay.
I got a backdrop stand from ebay that arrived today. I can't wait to have enough patience to really try it out. I don't have it fully extended but it is a 10'x12'. Now I need to slowly buy muslin backdrops to use with it. hehe.

Yeah, Braxton was real thrilled to pose for me. Course a few minutes later the dog was laid out asleep on the fabric.
I'm working on a layout idea that showcases both presidential candidates and how this election has changed our country and that no matter what history is about to be made.
This is the story for our grandchildren, this is what scrapbooks are about.
How many times have we heard from our g-parents about WWII or living through the Great Depression? Vietnam?
Yes, everyday is important, but I think we are missing some points. We not only need to document everyday life but what's making history around us and how its effecting us.
Off my soap box.

Oh boy is this month flying by. We've been fairly busy around here. I've been taking shots of miss C, Wyatt and Rob got to go on a train ride, I took a scrappin class, Kelly is back with Daisy scouts. I went with Kel on a class field trip. We (whole family)went and cheered my friend Julie on as she ran 10 miles for the Get Moving Tucson run/walk. Had a great dinner with other friends from church. Celebrated my friend Karens b-day by making bracelets at beads of courage, that was inspiring. It just seems that time is flying. But we are having fun.
Went with the kids and picked out Halloween costumes, they are going to be so adorable. Braxton had to be emergency rushed to the vet. somehow the dog dislocated his back leg knee caps. He is doing great now and we are not even sure how it happened.

Please excuse the bad shot. I had forgotten to take it off night mode, from Wyatt's train ride when I took this shot of Julie.

Way to go Jules! I'm proud of you.

I am still working on my Artist's Way classes and I have been staying off the computer so that I can focus on my creativity. Of course now that we are also getting rid of cable I should be even more productive. At least I hope so.
So that is life in a nut shell this second. I will try to compose something better when I'm not bouncing a baby on my knee. :)

My all about me album. I wanted to use bright colors so I primarily stuck with the KI Memories Pop Culture and Bloom lines. The little tabs are by a company called Urban Lily and the line is called Happy. I couldn't find any paper that matched so I found one that I liked . Now the pages are in order but I completed all the tab/token questions that they asked. If you like you should be able to click on each picture and see it bigger

Now on Saturday I went on my first Artist date. This is where I get to be by myself and do whatever I want for about 2 hours.
I chose to go to a local nursery called Mesquite Valley Growers. The people there were so nice and welcomed me to take pictures. Of course I also bought a beautiful mum and pot that called to me. I was very happy with the way some of the shots turned out and I plan on framing some for our living room.

I noticed that some of my favorites were in the purple range. I told Rob they would look good in a bathroom. He said as long as it wasn't ours, as opposed to the guest bathroom, he was fine with it.
The photo with the bouganvilla (sp?) is now our new screen saver, that Rob picked out. I'm really wanting to go back and do this again.
On the way there all these negative thoughts started to run through my head and once I got going it was so freeing and I was very happy.
Heck, after I got home and uploaded I wanted to drive back and take more shots.

So last night was Kelly's first night with her new Daisy troop. It was rough getting started but by the end she liked everything and this morning keeps asking me her troop leaders name so she can tell her teacher and classmates. I really hope this is something she can grow from and enjoy.
Rob said that Wyatt was asking about Boy scouts and how he was going to join them.
One thing that surprised me was that parents didn't have to stay. Well this being Kelly's first time she was trying to cling to me and I was trying to shove her forward.
When we first got there they did the opening ceremony. This is the color guard bringing out the flag to doing the pledge of allegience and then the girls scout promise. By the end of the ceremony Kelly was rubbing away tears. I think she was very overwhelmed because she didn't know anyone and she is surrounded by twenty plus girls (both juniors and daisy's were together). By the closing ceremony, retiring of the color guard and flag, saying the promise again and then a freindship song, Kelly was doing much better. So we will see next time. I already told the leaders I would hang in the back until Kelly was completely comfortable and then I would just start dropping her off and let her grow on her own.
So I'm off. I'm pumped to go be creative and want to get things done.

So our Saturday was fairly busy. The munchkin turned 3 months and we took the required bear picture and the bigger rug rat had her sixth birthday. I still remember the day she was born, which is a good thing because I seem to be forgetting everything else.

Picture #2 the party table. Just before the party started I went out to the dollar store to see what Pooh stuff I could find. I picked up glow wands, pooh color pencils, mini m&ms, and tigger and pooh pez dispensers. I then went to the other dollar store and scored by finding My friends tigger and pooh super sleuths coloring books. So I threw these all into goody bags for all for kids. I was so happy to find the coloring books because they matched the theme of the party. See because there isn't much out there yet I went to the Playhouse Disney website and downloaded placemats and such to help out.

As we were waiting for the cousins to arrive I dragged the kids kicking and screaming (not even close) to the backyard for some pictures.

Picture #3- Wyatt being Wyatt.

Picture #4- the birthday girl herself- Gave me some great shots and had some fun with the camera. Was uber excited and drove us crazy with the, are they here yets??

Picture #5- Chels- smiling and cooing so much lately. A fairly happy baby until bed time and then lots of fighting sleepy time. She is almost sleeping through the night. Holds her head up very well. Love making her smile.

Finished my mini album that I made about myself. I might post pictures later.
Now I saw a cute idea about a pumpkin album that I might give a try.
I'm still working on the Artist's Way tasks and morning pages. Doing pretty good about letting my creativity out and not spending so much wasteful time on the computer.
Also Kelly has been invited to a new Daisy scouts troop. I am soooo excited because I know the leader and she is fantastic. We are going to learn so much and have a blast. Our next meeting is Monday the 6th.
So I'm off, Wyatt the terror has made a mess while I've been typing. How he does it so quietly with me right beside him is a mystery.
